Undergraduate
Example:
An undergraduate out-of-state student registers for 9 credits and is eligible to apply for the Yellow Ribbon Program.
Out-of-state tuition:
$4,491 + $135 (fees) = $4,626
VA pays UMUC:
$2,259 + $135 (fees) = $2,394
The unmet charges are $2,232
UMUC will contribute half of the unmet charges or $1,116
The VA will contribute the remaining half of the unmet charges or $1,116
Graduate
Example:
A graduate out-of-state student registers for 6 credits in standard graduate courses and is eligible to apply for the Yellow Ribbon Program.
Out-of-state tuition:
$3,954 + $90 (fees) = $4,044
VA pays UMUC:
$2,748 + $90 (fees) = $2,838
The unmet charges are $1,206
UMUC will contribute half of the unmet charges or $603
The VA will contribute the remaining half of the unmet charges or $603
